Chris & Samantha Stays (“we,” “us”) operate chrisandsamanthastays.com to share two short-term rental properties — one in Boston’s North End and one in Bay Pines Lakes, St. Petersburg, Florida. This policy explains the limited information we collect through this website and how we handle it.

The website is maintained by Constitution Wharf Group, LLC.

For booking-platform privacy questions (Airbnb, VRBO), please refer to those platforms’ own policies. This site only governs interactions on chrisandsamanthastays.com itself.

The site only collects information you actively submit through one of three forms:

Booking inquiries

When you submit an inquiry through a property page, we record your name, email address, requested check-in and check-out dates, guest count, an optional phone number, and any message you write.

Contact form

The “Contact us” form in the Meet your hosts section on each property page collects your name, email address, and the message you write.

Guest book entries

When you submit a guest book entry, we record the name you choose to display, your email address, and any comments, restaurant recommendations, or stay details you choose to share. Your name and entry are public on the property page after we approve the submission. Email addresses are not shown publicly.

How we use this information

Information submitted through any of the forms above is stored in our records and may be used to respond to you, coordinate a booking, and — from time to time — to reach out by email about future promotions, special rates, or news about our stays. If you’d rather not hear from us about future stays or promotions, just say so in any reply or in the message field of any of the forms, and we’ll honor that.

Server logs

Our hosting provider (Fly.io) automatically records standard request logs including IP address, user agent, and timestamps for the purpose of operating and securing the site. We do not use this data for marketing or analytics.

• We don’t use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party tracker.
• We don’t use advertising cookies or sell, rent, or trade your information.
• We don’t collect payment or financial information through this site. Bookings and payments happen on third-party platforms (Airbnb, VRBO).

The only cookie this site sets is a session cookie that keeps the property owner signed into the admin dashboard. Regular site visitors do not receive this cookie.

Inquiries, contact form messages, and guest book entries are retained as long as needed to communicate with you and as long as the property is listed on the site. You can ask us to delete a record or stop hearing from us at any time using any form on the site — just say so in the message field, and please mention the name or email address you’d like removed.

The site sends form submissions to us by email through an email service provider. Property photos and a small number of icons are delivered through standard CDNs. We don’t share your information with any other third party except where required by law.

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any information you’ve submitted — and opt out of any future promotional messages — by sending us a note through the Contact us form on either Boston or St Pete property page. We’ll respond within a reasonable time.

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please send a note through the Contact us form on either Boston or St Pete property page and we’ll delete it.

If we change how we handle data, we’ll update this page and adjust the “Last updated” date at the top.
